Born Suzette Montgomery, this dynamic gospel and house music vocalist burst onto the domestic and international music scene in 1998 with You Don't Know, which stayed on Billboard for 6 weeks. She has sung with Bishop Hezekiah Walker's Choir and the Harlem Gospel Choir, among others..   

SuSu’s latest single Magnify, is produced by DJ Paul Newman of Kemnal Road Studios, London, Voices Vol 1 compilation. She has completed a second single, with Paul, for the Voices Vol 2, out later in 2019. In June 2018, SuSu released Let’s Have Some Church, produced by George Sykes III. The single is a testament to receiving the Holy Ghost, laid out in true gospel house music fashion.  Love Sensation is a masterfully done remake of Loleatta Holloway’s iconic single. Produced by DJ Spen, on Quantize Recordings, the single has them digging in deep on the dance floor.  

While songs like Help Is On The Way and Thank You show SuSu’s powerful and inspirational vocal range, she is blazing her own path, inspired by artists like Tina Turner, the Clark Sisters and Patti LaBelle. And, just like these powerful ladies, if you feel the music in your soul, you know SuSu must be singing.
